There is so much I love about the Lakeville Public Library. The staff is always so helpful and friendly. I enjoy the genealogy club, the art exhibits, and the program offerings. My husband and I love the used book room and always stop in to find a treasure. Thank you for all you do!

The public library gave me access to a world of perspectives, not only through diverse book selection but also through passes to museums. When my home wifi was down for 2 weeks, I was able to work remotely from my local library branch. The libraries make me feel part of the community and truly cared for -- I got a self-care kit and COVID tests for free. I encourage everyone to be a fellow library fan!
The Seekonk PL has been a place of comfort and learning for our family. It is our favorite weekly trip. We’ve explored programs for all ages, borrowed thousands of books, utilized various resources, and have met many friends. The staff always have smiles on their faces. They’re so knowledge and willing to help. We love “our second home”, The Seekonk Public Library! Thank you for all you do!!

Librarians shaped the course of my life—welcoming me into a safe haven of curiosity and discovery, guiding my young mind through school projects, and inspiring me to pursue a life preserving stories as an archivist. They weren’t just keepers of books; they were the first mentors who showed me how knowledge could be a lifelong adventure

The library provides every service one can imagine from children's story times to museum passes to every book available to the library of things!!!
Every department works so hard to fulfill the needs of our community.
How could we ever live without it?

I love my libraries! I am a part of 4 bookclubs, I bring my students to the library for a field trip every year to increase their access to resources. I donate books when I can and I cannot tell you how many students are SHOCKED that everything the library has to offer is free to the public!!!!! I would never want to see any library close EVER. They are so important and are truly a safe place filled with knowledge and peace!

Saving Money
I can't even imagine a life without a nearby public library. And I find it very sad when they are forced to cut back on services or even the hours they can be open, due to the lack of funding. Libraries are an essential part of the community!
I love libraries!!! One of the first things I've done whenever I've moved to a new place is to sign up for my library card from the area library (or libraries!). Digital libraries have also been invaluable to me for researching - for school, for stories I write, for family legacy information, and for my love of history, etc. I could never afford to buy the amount of books I have free access to because of libraries. Books have been a huge part of my learning about people's different experiences and perspectives on life. I am a better citizen because of libraries. My local library was a great place to bring my child growing up, and many free community events happen there. We need our libraries!

Books and libraries have given my life so much joy and meaning. One of my core childhood memories was riding my bike with my brother to Woburn Public Library in the summer and checking out books and every musical the library had on offer (my favorite was My Fair Lady). As an adult, I live in Maynard and watch my nieces carry on the family love of reading and I also how much they love all the activities the library puts on for kids in the community. The pandemic introduced me to ebooks from Libby, which were so vital during that time, and I wouldn’t survive my daily 2 hour commute without audiobooks. Last summer, the library was a lifesaver after I had surgery and couldn’t walk for months. I read through the entire Neapolitan Quartet, I, Claudius, Pale Fire, Doctor Zhivago, a history of the Reformation, and so many other wonderful books during that time. Libraries are a vital, necessary, and essential part of my life and my community, and librarians do so so much unsung work in their communities, from showing people how to access things on the internet to providing a free space for parents to bring their children. There are so few community spaces around these days. Please help us preserve this one. We need it.
