Libraries are essential for learning, for community, for the free exchange of ideas—and all are central to democracy. Westwood librarians are smart, responsive, accessible and inclusive, a crucial part of the vibrancy of our town.

We can’t say enough good things about the Westwood library. Our family is so fortunate to live in a town with such a robust library let alone TWO libraries. From their children and teen programming to their museum passes, we have found ourselves spending more and more family time together at the library. My kids always get so excited to see what’s new when we come. It’s a great resource for half days of school as well. This library truly fosters a sense of community in the town and also provides access to other things besides books that most people wouldn’t have access to! Truly a gem of the town!
