  • LIBRARY Library, not by definition, what really is the Lakeville Library? It consists of Jayme, Bryan, Carol and Pam. Bryan is the “grounded man” These people are more than checking in and out our books. These people listen, work hard and with their knowledge Do not judge us by our looks. These people have the deepest, kindness of love This kind of caring and love comes from above. These librarians became family to me These librarians do not get enough credit for what they do The compassion, they have and enriching peoples’ lives From the corporate or higher place has no clue Some days I would go in and everything would go wrong Not once did they get angry or loose their composer When I left, they always made me feel “I belong”. I could go on forever and tell you what a great place to visit and why When I first came here, my feelings holding everything inside This library empowered and enabled me to dig deep down to a place and cry In the library, I experienced the sadness of Huckleberry Finn and Edgar Alan Poe and I could relate sharing in the book club Is the best place for self betterment, educate, research and grow This library gave me courage This library gave me hope This library gave me unsurmountable strength This library assisted in numerous ways well spent Dead Poet Society “Oh Captain My Captain,” “Make Your Life Extraordinary” and “Seize the Day,” “Carpe Diem,” “Live Life to the Fullest.” A stone, a leaf and unopened door by Thomas Wolfe Gives a burning desire to educate and learn more I look forward to walking through the library doors And I know I leave an extraordinary person The desire to come back and experience so much more
