I am an avid reader. Not only of novels, but a high proportion of Non-fiction, history, political commentary, science, medical research. I depend on the library(s) to supply me with the wonderful level choices that I now enjoy. Curtailing the ability of the library to continually supply me with the wealth of the world in print would have a tremendously deleteorious effect on my ability to remain alert and cognizant of my place as an active citizen.

I woudl be nothing without Massachusetts libraries. I regularly borrow from the Agawam Public Library. I belong to book clubs at both the Agawam and West Springfield libraries. I use interlibrary loan to receive books from all over the Commonwealth. I attend library events and want to commit to even more! During my time in grad school, I also used the Boston Public Library online to access articles. Simply put, libraries have greatly impacted my life and I feel like to be in a state that continues the support of libraries.

I love my libraries! I am a part of 4 bookclubs, I bring my students to the library for a field trip every year to increase their access to resources. I donate books when I can and I cannot tell you how many students are SHOCKED that everything the library has to offer is free to the public!!!!! I would never want to see any library close EVER. They are so important and are truly a safe place filled with knowledge and peace!

Love the library system here! I go to 2 book discussions a month plus I read 2 to 3 books a month. I especially like the architecture of the older libraries. The libraries are well staffed. Employees and volunteers are polite and helpful.
