  • My love of reading started when I was 8 years old at the Stoneham library. And now it continues at the Melrose library. I introduced my children and grandchildren to the library and now my great-grandchildren. Happy memories are made at public libraries. The must be funded!

  • My library helped establish my child’s love of reading with their summer reading programs and it lets me borrow books to read on my commute that I would otherwise not be able to get. I’ve been able to do research at the library and play games with my kids. We’ve met other families there as a space to get to know each other. It provided seeds for my garden and news about local events. My library provides a valuable community to us and is essential for us all.
